Job summary

Orlando Magic is seeking a Seasonal Full-Time Audio Engineer (A1/A2) to manage the in-arena sound system for games and events. The role supports a busy venue across multiple locations and requires strong live sound background and a willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include executing audio setup/strike, assisting with event AV configurations, and coordinating with BTS staff to ensure top-tier audio experiences for guests and performers.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience required in live sound.
• Minimum of 5 years of front of house experience.
• Arena/Large Venue experience is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with analog and digital audio consoles and outboard processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work with Lead Audio Engineer to establish audio procedures and workflows.
• Serve as A1 for Solar Bears, Osceola Magic games, and cover Magic games as A1/A2.
• Set up/strike event audio systems of various sizes.
• Provide technical support to staff and clients on event and non-event days.
• Coordinate with other Audio Assistants on events.
• Ensure quality control and proper system operations.
