Job summary
The HEAT Group in Miami is seeking a skilled Audio Technician for live productions, broadcasts, and events in a fast-paced arena environment. This part-time role focuses on hands-on technical work, ensuring clear, professional audio experiences for fans, clients, media partners, performers, and internal teams.
You will mix, install, troubleshoot, and support in-house analog and network audio systems, collaborating with broadcast, production, and operations teams to deliver high-quality sound
Qualifications
- Experience in live sound mixing for arena or large venues.
- Strong troubleshooting and setup/teardown skills.
- Ability to manage cables and basic electrical knowledge.
- Excellent communication with clients and productions.
Responsibilities
- Mix, install, troubleshoot, and support in-house audio systems during live events.
- Perform pre-event checks and coordinate with production teams.
- Operate and monitor audio consoles; adjust levels for optimal sound.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment; maintain inventory.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, performers, and staff.
