Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily tasks, merchandise organization, and payroll/scheduling while helping to maintain a safe, welcoming store environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and hands-on involvement in opening/closing procedures and directing store associates. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Retail/store-management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Customer service excellence and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions in a positive manner.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits; assist loss prevention.
• Train and develop store associates; supervise under the Store Manager.
