Job summary

University of Southern California is seeking an Accessibility Representative (Seasonal) to greet visitors, answer questions, and provide directions. The role supports staff with event-related communications, helps disabled guests, and handles meal tickets and related equipment.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, prior customer service experience, and strong interpersonal skills. The position is on-site at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with a focus on safety and excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent combined experience.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to push heavy objects.
• Ability walk long distances for long periods of time.
• Valid CA driver's license required.
• Position will participate in the DMV Pull Notice System.
• A copy of DMV record will be required as a final condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests by offering services, fulfilling special needs, and resolving conflicts.
• Listen effectively, communicate clearly, and always maintain a friendly demeanor.
• Provide accurate facility information and exceptional customer service to all customers.
• Answer phone lines and direct calls to proper staff member/department.
• Operate the customer service window and respond to customer inquiries, as needed.
