Accessibility Representative (Seasonal)

USC is looking for an Accessibility Representative (Seasonal) to greet and assist visitors at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, help with directions, provide customer service, handle phone calls, manage ticket sales and meal ticket distribution, and offer support to disabled guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, fulfill special needs, and resolve conflicts while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Use knowledge of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to give directions, solve issues, and proactively find solutions.
• Remain patient and calm when responding to confused or irate customers, handling stressful situations professionally.
• Answer phone lines and direct calls to appropriate staff members or departments, reporting issues immediately.
• Operate the “customer service window” and respond to inquiries as needed.
• Provide customers with disability services and be knowledgeable of services available within the disabled community.
• Follow proper cash‑handling procedures, including reconciling money and completing ticket reconciliation at the end of each shift; receive and process cash, phone, and meal ticket orders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested; the University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent combined experience.
• Minimum Experience: Prior customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and push heavy objects.
• Ability to walk long distances for long periods of time.
• Valid California driver’s license required; position will participate in the DMV Pull Notice System, and a copy of the DMV record will be required as a final condition of employment.

Hourly rate: $19.42 per hour.
