Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is hiring at their Des Peres, MO location for a front‑line retail team member. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help shoppers find what they need while promoting the Michaels Rewards program.

You will also participate in stock replenishment, merchandising, and store maintenance tasks to ensure an inviting, in‑stock environment. This role involves standing for long periods and working evenings, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program enrollments and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Stock, unload trucks, and maintain planograms (POGs).
• Ensure store recovery, in-stock levels, and compliance with SOPs.
