Job summary

Santa Monica Seafood is seeking a Seafood Production Associate for the Day Shift in a fast-paced, refrigerated setting. You will be cross-trained to perform a variety of production and warehouse duties and support multiple production areas as needed.

Responsibilities include processing, trimming, labeling, packing, loading, inventory support, and quality checks, all while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, warehouse, or food production experience preferred.
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment (35°–40°F).
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process, trim, cut, and package fresh seafood products.
• Pack, label, sort, and palletize customer orders.
• Load products onto processing equipment and conveyors.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and moving inventory.
• Perform quality checks and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Support different production areas based on business needs.
