Santa Monica Seafood in Santa Monica, CA, has immediate openings for an experienced Salmon Line Cutter to cut whole fish, filets, and other products for packing and orders. You will clean, trim and portion fish, remove skin, scales or bones, and inspect for defects while following GMP and food safety guidelines.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, long periods of standing, and a 7:00pm–3:30am schedule, Monday through Saturday with one weekday off.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a seafood cutter or similar role.
• Ability to follow GMP, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to trim, cut and portion fish for packing/stock.

Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: 7:00pm - 3:30am (Monday through Saturday with one day off during the week)

Salmon Line Cutter

SM Seafood has immediate openings for experienced seafood cutters to cut whole fish, filets, and other saleable products. Clean, trim, cut and trim fish to prepare for packing/stock; process primal parts into cuts that are ready for retail use. Remove parts, such as skin, scales or bones. Inspect products for defects, bruises or blemishes and remove them along with any excess fat. Pack wholesale and local customer orders. Clean and sanitize adjacent areas as needed.

Follow and apply all the company guidelines and policies (food defense, good manufacturing practices, safety, and sanitation. Use knives or other equipment to perform fish cutting and trimming.

Must be able to liftand carry50pounds for short distances. Long-term standingrequired.

Production area maintains a cold temperature, warm clothingis required.
