Job summary

Four Star Seafood is a Los Angeles area seafood provider currently hiring two full-time Fish Cutters for the Monterey Park location. Responsibilities include filleting, trimming, weighing, packing, and labeling seafood products while upholding strict safety and sanitation standards.

Shift times are early morning to midday, with weekend/holiday availability required. Ideal candidates have prior fish/meat cutting or food prep experience, strong knife skills, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in fish cutting, meat cutting, or food preparation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Remove scales, trim, fillet, and clean seafood products.
• Weigh, wrap, and pack fish products to meet orders and inventory standards.
• Prepare fish according to federal, state, local regulations and company policy.
• Package fish products and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the preparation area, adhering to hygiene protocols.
