Brown's Super Stores Inc. seeks a Seafood Department Supervisor to direct all functions and activities of the Seafood Department and its Associates under the Store Director. You will ensure policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed while maintaining product quality and customer service.

Ideal candidate will lead onboarding, training and performance feedback, and coordinate with management to meet department goals and ensure a positive Customer Experience.

Aufgaben

• Perform all duties in accordance with policies, local, state and federal laws, including environmental, health, safety and security policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment in accordance with department QA standards.
• Clearly communicate and consistently enforce department and Company safety policies and procedures.
• Observe all safety regulations when operating equipment and utilize Personal Protective Equipment.
• Supervise the proper use of all equipment by associates, including PPE, ensuring age requirements.
• Regularly lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain all temperature logs and production sheets.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new department associates, following company policies and labor laws.
• Provide continual training, developmental action planning, and meaningful feedback on job performance.
• Maintain an open line of communication and work cooperatively with business partners.
• Lead associates to work cooperatively while encouraging enthusiasm, loyalty, and creativity.
• Encourage and recognize associates to provide a positive customer experience.
• Maintain a professional appearance and be a positive role model for all associates per the company dress code.
• Ensure unit price labels for all items are current and accurate.
• Monitor Seafood storage area for cleanliness and readiness for next shift.
• Ensure all merchandise is fully stocked and rotated in displays according to policy.
• Ensure product is blocked and faced according to company policy.
• Understand and adhere to all COO L regulations for seafood products.
• Understand and utilize required applications for seafood operations.
• Verify invoices match received products and that reports are accurate.
• Ensure all records are retained per company policy.
• Ensure quality control of all received products and proper storage.
• Ensure proper pricing accuracy and shelf allocation.
• Follow return-to-stock procedures as per policy.
• Adhere to in-store pricing procedures and transfers.
• Understand and adhere to local, state, and federal seafood regulations.
• Understand department financials and adjust operations to meet goals.
• Adhere to shrinkage guidelines for seafood operations.
• Complete all applicable department training and maintain punctual attendance.
