Job summary

ShopRite of Montgomery is seeking a Seafood Manager to direct and supervise the Seafood Department and its associates to achieve department goals in sales, profit, customer experience, and engagement.

The role requires leading a team in a fast-paced grocery environment, ensuring food safety, accurate inventory, and high-quality customer service. This position emphasizes safety, friendly service, presentation, and efficient operations within the department.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Perform basic computer functions.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
• Work with fresh, dried, and/or processed products and ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Seafood Department and associates to hit department goals (sales, profit, Customer Experience, and engagement).
• Ensure safety, food safety, and compliance with all policies and regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service and lead associates to deliver a positive Customer Experience.
• Maintain department presentation, labeling, and stock to company standards.
• Operate with efficiency and accuracy in department operations.
