The Kroger Co. is hiring for a Seafood Department Supervisor in Glendale, CO. You will lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain a safe, clean environment, and drive department sales and profit goals.

You will direct daily functions, train associates, manage scheduling, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while upholding Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, inclusion and safety.

• Current food handler permit required once employed.
• Knife handling skills and speed appropriate for seafood prep.

• Promote trust and respect among associates by communicating information.
• Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to reach goals.
• Set department performance goals and empower staff to meet targets.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume during hours.
• Train and develop associates and participate in performance reviews.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Provide knowledge of products, offer samples, inform customers of specials.
• Cut seafood to order with proper equipment and provide fresh/frozen items.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Support management to implement a department business plan.
• Inform associates about promotions and seasonal changes.
• Submit seasonal critiques for sales/merchandising supervision.
• Monitor department expenses and financial reports.
• Assist with budget, P&L reviews, and action on financials.
• Schedule price changes and update shelf tags.
