Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates by communicating information.
• Collaborate with associates to achieve store goals and plan.
• Set department performance goals and empower team members.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume during open hours.
• Train associates and participate in performance appraisals.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines.
• Provide knowledgeable customer service and promote samples.
• Cut seafood to customers’ requests and provide fresh products.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and instructions.
• Create and implement a department business plan with management.
• Educate staff about promotions and seasonal changes.
• Monitor expenses and assist with budget and financial reporting.
• Update shelf tags and promotional signs.
• Maintain compliance with origin labeling and regulations.
• Plan and supervise inventory processes.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report to management.
• Report safety risks or incidents including theft or fraud.
