Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Sea Logistics Training Expert in the United States to design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for a growing logistics team. You will partner with the National Training Manager to align programs with business needs and measure impact across operations.

You'll facilitate sessions, track attendance in the LMS, maintain records, and report on training metrics while ensuring accessibility and clear, engaging learning experiences for staff at all levels.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in corporate training and facilitation, onboarding, and employee development.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Sales training experience preferred, including facilitating, developing, or supporting training programs for sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding, role-specific, and ad-hoc training programs for new hires and current employees, using engaging methods.
• Coordinate with the National Training Manager to plan and schedule training sessions aligned with the program framework.
• Post and announce training schedules and track attendance via the Corporate LMS.
• Support logistics and setup for training sessions, ensuring materials and technology are prepared.
• Encourage questions and discussions to deepen understanding and ensure trainees follow along.
• Use quizzes, group exercises, and interactive discussions to assess understanding.
• Monitor engagement and adapt strategies to improve learning outcomes.
• Follow up with participants to ensure training benchmarks are met.
• Maintain accurate training completion records and ensure compliance.
• Support reporting on training metrics and trends.
• Distribute post-training surveys and analyze feedback.
• Review feedback analytics with stakeholders to improve training.
• Provide constructive feedback to participants and managers.
• Partner with National Training team to identify training needs across the unit.
• Assess training gaps and coordinate targeted programs.
• Participate in meetings to share insights on processes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and gather improvement insights.
• Drive feedback collection to inform future materials.
