Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking an Operational Key Account Manager for its Sea Logistics team in a fast-paced, international setting. You will bridge customers and operations, drive process improvements, and tailor solutions to meet client needs.

You will collaborate with Global KAMs, operations, and system experts to optimize performance, manage onboarding, and ensure service excellence for global clients.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Sea Logistics operations and supply chain processes.
• Solid understanding of operational systems and process optimization.
• Proven ability to manage key customer relationships in a complex environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPI data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customers and act as bridge between customers and operations.
• Serve as primary escalation point for operational issues and customer concerns.
• Define and agree on customer KPIs with stakeholders.
• Coordinate onboarding of new business, customer projects, and special requests.
• Design and implement customer-specific solutions to increase satisfaction and loyalty.
• Drive process improvements and standardize processes (MOPs/SOPs) across global and local operations.
• Monitor and report operational performance through KPI tracking.
• Identify operational risks and ensure visibility among stakeholders.
