Job summary

General Motors Company in Arlington, TX is seeking a Lead Launch Electrical Coordinator responsible for SDV/VaaT readiness, ensuring safe, stable launch processes and rapid issue resolution across all vehicle launch phases.

You will lead the plant electrical team, manage BoO and launch plans, drive EFTQ glidepath to 99.9%, and develop dashboards and data tools to enable timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with vehicle electrical architecture.
• Data-Driven Performance Analytics.
• 5+ years of manufacturing launch experience.
• Proven experience managing large teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Ability and willingness to work / rotate through all 3 shifts (1st, 2nd & 3rd).
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, etc., as needed.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools and methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Project, Word, PowerPoint) and analytical or business software.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities with a track record of improving processes.
• Familiarity with automotive manufacturing standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time or higher domestically and/or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Complete mandatory training requirements, including AMEC and supplier certifications, prior to MVB (travel is required).
• Lead electrical launch execution from virtual assessments through SORP, ensuring plant readiness and milestone compliance.
• Drive early vehicle integration activities including architecture reviews, feasibility assessments, wiring harness evaluations, and launch build support.
• Own electrical launch governance through risk management, issue escalation, recovery planning, and cross-functional alignment.
• Establish clear team operating rhythms, role ownership, and issue resolution processes for efficient launch execution.
• Develop dashboards, production metrics, and quality data to drive data-based decisions and performance improvements.
• Ensure tester readiness, software traceability, configuration control, and change management compliance across electrical systems.
• Utilize plant quality systems, warranty data, and tester performance to identify and eliminate variation.
• Drive electrical, software, wiring, module, and testing concerns to closure with containment and recovery plans.
• Communicate electrical readiness and EFTQ performance through leadership reviews and program gates.
• Lead continuous improvement and share best practices across GM facilities.
