Rivian Automotive seeks an electrical systems leader responsible for developing and delivering electrical systems within a vehicle line. You will drive design, development, release, validation and launch in partnership with electrical hardware, software and product teams.

You will own program status, risk mitigation, and metrics, lead design reviews, and ensure timely launches while coordinating with manufacturing to optimize design-for-manufacturing and integration across the vehicle program.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience on a program team or equivalent.
• BS+ in Engineering or similar technical degree required.
• Integration and launch experience on a vehicle or highly complex electromechanical system.
• Strong communication skills in technical and nontechnical domains.
• Outstanding collaboration capabilities within and across organizations.
• Product Release and automotive quality processes experience.
• Understanding of engineering theory and principles of operation of mechanical, electrical, and software systems.

Responsabilidades

• Work closely with the electrical team to build out master development and integration schedules and drive this cycle into vehicle-level program schedules.
• Drive electrical development throughout the v-cycle in collaboration with architecture, design and software teams.
• Coordinate with vehicle line and other teams to manage critical path and synchronized deliveries.
• Lead design reviews and drive solutions for integration issues to support pre-series builds.
• Generate development metrics and report program deliverables at weekly reviews.
• Champion issue resolution and remove roadblocks.
• Cascade status/issues/critical paths to indirect teams.
• Collaborate with operations on design for manufacturability initiatives.
