Job summary

General Motors Company in Lansing, MI seeks a GA Launch Coordinator to lead launch activities, ensure operational readiness, and resolve issues across cross-functional teams. You will report to the GA Launch Manager and collaborate with Plant Launch Operations to meet launch milestones.

Responsibilities include onboarding Core Team members, leading readiness meetings, and coordinating tooling validation, process integration, and SPQRCE-focused issue resolution throughout the launch lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing, launch, manufacturing engineering, quality, or related field.
• Experience supporting high-volume General Assembly or launch processes.
• Knowledge of GA processes, tooling, and automation.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, organization, and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and training for Core Team members and develop leaders.
• Facilitate daily launch-readiness meetings to resolve issues and protect timing.
• Analyze design, tooling, and specification issues affecting SPQRCE.
• Lead JES and SOS integration for General Assembly.
• Drive the seven-diamond problem-solving process and support issue resolution.
• Coordinate build readiness, tooling validation, and process integration for events.
