Job summary

General Motors in Arlington, TX is seeking a Lead Launch Electrical Coordinator to guide the SDV/VaaT electrical launch at the plant level. You will manage cross-functional teams, align schedules, and ensure safe, stable processes across all launch phases to protect product quality and profitability.

You will drive readiness through virtual assessments to production ramp-up, maintaining tight milestones, governance, and data-driven decision support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with vehicle electrical architecture required.
• Data-driven performance analytics experience required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing launch experience.
• Proven experience managing large teams in high-volume manufacturing.
• Willingness to rotate through 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts and work overtime as needed.
• Lean manufacturing tools and methodologies proficiency required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Project, Word, PowerPoint) and analytical/business software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant SDV/VaaT Launch Electrical Team from virtual assessments through SORP and ramp-up, ensuring readiness and milestones.
• Drive early vehicle integration activities including architecture reviews and wiring harness evaluations.
• Own electrical launch governance through risk management, issue escalation and cross-functional alignment.
• Develop dashboards and production metrics to enable data-based decision-making.
• Ensure tester readiness, software traceability, configuration control, and change management across electrical systems.
• Communicate launch status and EFTQ performance in leadership reviews and program gates.
• Lead continuous improvement and transfer best practices across GM facilities.
