Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent.
• Requires 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Requires 4 years of experience with C/C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Requires 4 years experience using Wireshark to analyze VOIP traffic.
• Requires 4 years experience using IDE tools including Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Requires 4 years experience using Valgrind for memory checks.
• Requires 4 years experience using Flame Graph for CPU profiling.
• Requires 4 years experience with TCP/UDP/TLS/RTP/SRTP/RCTP protocols for real-time traffic.
• Requires 4 years experience in VoIP technologies including RFCs 2833, 3550, 5760.

Responsibilities

• Design the overall architecture for Zoom Phone tasks and communicate interfaces with server and client teams.
• Implement new features and unit test cases; drive cross-team tasks and ensure features follow release plan.
• Conduct integration testing with server and client teams.
• Use WPA or relevant tools to prevent memory leaks in SDK code.
• Use Checkmarx to scan and fix SDK issues.
• Use UMDH to analyze heap memory allocations.
• Perform sanity testing to prevent crashes and regressions.
• Maintain auto testing tools and enhance testing scenarios.
• Review customer tickets and work with support to analyze call details.
• Examine client problem reports, perform root cause analysis, and reproduce bugs.
• Perform integration testing on development and release branches to ensure fixes do not break other areas.
• Collaborate with product management to define requirements and collect use cases for new features.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams and support fire drills before releases.
