Job summary

Zoom is seeking a Full stack Software Engineer to grow our App & Strategic Integration team. You will help build scalable, cloud-native web applications across the Zoom ecosystem, delivering seamless experiences in Meeting, Webinar, Chat, and Phone.

You’ll own end-to-end development, write clean code with TDD, collaborate with product, design, and QA, and explore real-time audio/video features in the browser while keeping users at the center.

Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js, Ruby on Rails or Django/Python in web apps.
• Strong background in building single-page and progressive web apps.
• Solid SQL and relational database design knowledge.
• Hands-on with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker/Kubernetes/Terraform).
• Experience deploying on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiar with MVC, MVVM or microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Scale distributed web applications and evaluate architectural trade-offs.
• Own end-to-end development of the BuiltByZoom progressive web app, from prototype to production.
• Write clean, maintainable code and advocate for TDD and robust tests.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver releases.
• Iterate on real-time audio/video features in the browser.
• Foster a collaborative, respectful team environment.
• Stay current with new technologies to improve performance and reliability.
• Keep the user experience front and center to Deliver Happiness.
