Job summary

Inter-American Development Bank is offering a Winter Internship in Washington, DC for active graduate students in related fields. The two-month program runs January 16th to March 15th, 2027, with full-time, 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

Active graduate student in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, International Development, Public Policy or related field.
Graduation date after the internship period is required.
Fluency in English with working knowledge of another Bank language is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support in identifying and developing strategic partnerships to mobilize private capital for the SDGs in the LAC region.
Assist with evaluation of existing partnerships to improve impact across IDB Group projects.
Support research and tasks related to development of new financial instruments with partners; perform market research and data analysis.
Assist with management and development of new partnerships, including risk analysis for due diligence and event materials.
Support communications activities, publications, intranet content, presentations, social media, and senior-management briefings.
Other activities as agreed with the internship supervisor.
