Job summary

IDB Group in Washington, DC is seeking an active graduate student for an internship in the Partnerships Solutions Team. The two-month internship (January 16 – March 15, 2027) is paid and based at Headquarters, offering on-the-job learning in development work and corporate management of the Bank.

You will assist the Partnerships Solution team with identifying strategic alliances, support research on climate change, prepare country profiles, and analyze partnership opportunities in IDB member

Qualifications

• Active graduate student in Political Science.
• Fluency in English with a working knowledge of one other Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese).
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to perform research using search engines.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the Partnerships Solutions team in identifying and developing strategic alliances and partnership opportunities.
• Conduct market research and analyze data on partnership opportunities in IDB member countries.
• Assist in preparation of country profiles and intelligence briefs.
