Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in San Diego seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test for a 12-month contract. You will test new and existing features across platforms, build test plans, and maintain automation.

The role requires a CS degree or equivalent, 2+ years of UI automation, Selenium/Appium, Python, Jenkins CI, and experience with web or native apps. You’ll join a collaborative QA team at PlayStation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent knowledge.
2+ years experience in UI automation for web or native applications.
Experience with Software testing life cycle.
Experience with version control solutions (Git, SVN, or similar).
Experience maintaining CI systems (Jenkins preferred).
Experience with Selenium or Appium.
Experience with Python or similar scripting languages.

Responsibilities

Review product requirements and design documents to create effective testing strategies.
Build concrete test plans, write test cases and execute them to ensure quality of features.
Implement and maintain test automation scripts to increase test coverage and stability.
Develop, maintain and improve test automation framework.
Report, track and verify defects and monitor automation jobs.
Provide status reports to leadership and partners.
Work with infrastructure to maintain CI test pipelines.
