Job summary
Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on test-driven development across multiple platforms, building and maintaining automation frameworks, and delivering high-quality features for PlayStation products.
You will review requirements, write and execute test cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust test coverage and timely releases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years experience in UI automation for web or native applications
- Validated experience in Software testing life cycle
- Experience with version control solutions (centralized and distributed)
- Experience with Selenium or Appium
- Experience in one or more Programming/Scripting Languages, preferably Python.
Responsibilities
- Review product requirements and design documents to create effective testing strategies
- Build concrete test plans, write test cases and execute them to ensure quality of features
- Implement and maintain test automation scripts to increase test coverage and stability
- Develop, maintain and improve test automation framework
- Report, track and verify defects as well as monitor Automation jobs
- Provide status reports to Leadership and other key partners
- Work with the infrastructure team to maintain common services such as CI test pipelines
