Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an SDET Manager to lead Quality Engineering and software delivery transformation across the Medicare Sales & Acquisition ecosystem. You will translate business workflows into scalable, automated testing solutions, and drive test automation strategy toward AI-driven, AWS-native pipelines.

This hands-on technical leadership role requires mentoring a team of SDETs, aligning with enterprise goals, and enabling intelligent SDLC practices with AI capabilities throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Software Development Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• 2+ years of experience leading automation strategy and/or managing engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Experience building and integrating APIs and distributed systems.
• Proven experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
• Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI tools.
• Familiarity with Jira for workflow, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to work East Coast business hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of AI-augmented Quality Engineering solutions and AI-driven delivery lifecycle.
• Migrate automation frameworks and test data management onto AWS-native services.
• Advance testing model to agent-orchestrated QE with autonomous agents and human review gates.
• Translate business processes into automation strategies and validation models.
• Design automated SDLC pipelines and automated validation workflows.
• Establish quality gates for AI-generated artifacts and governance.
