Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an SDET Manager to lead Quality Engineering and software delivery transformation across the Medicare Sales & Acquisition ecosystem. This role drives AI-powered testing strategies and scalable automation in a fast-paced environment, guiding a high-performing engineering team.

You will partner with Business, Product, Engineering, and DevOps to implement robust automation across UI, API, and data validation, while aligning with enterprise goals and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Software Development Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• 2+ years of experience leading automation strategy and/or managing engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Experience building and integrating APIs and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Postman, RestAssured, Karate).
• Proven experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
• Experience testing React-based applications, including component-level and end-to-end UI testing.
• Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI tools.
• Familiarity with Jira for workflow, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to work East Coast business hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of AI-augmented Quality Engineering solutions.
• Drive migration of automation frameworks onto AWS-native services for scalable QE.
• Advance testing model to agent-orchestrated QE with autonomous agents.
• Translate business processes into automation strategies and validation models.
• Design and implement automated SDLC pipelines and validation workflows.
• Establish quality gates for AI-generated test artifacts and governance.
