Job summary

Kobie is building the next-generation loyalty platform with a strong focus on software quality. We are seeking a software engineer in test who can enable teams to run a robust quality program, automate tests, and drive improvements across the CI/CD pipeline.

You will work with Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript and modern testing tools to ship reliable software. This role emphasizes left-shifted quality, collaboration with engineering, and measurable quality metrics.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years experience as a software developer, Software Developer in Test, or a similar role.
• Bias toward automation over manual testing.
• Experience with testing frameworks and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Enable teams by providing the environment and knowledge to run a robust quality program.
• Execute tests where appropriate to ensure software quality.
• Shift left on quality and automate tests to improve metrics.
• Guide the software engineering team on continuous improvement and QA practices.
• Help teams test their own code through tooling, pilots, and education.
