Job summary

Kobie, a leader in customer loyalty, is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to empower teams with robust testing, automate critical processes, and drive quality metrics. This role emphasizes hands-on testing, automation, and collaboration within a remote-friendly environment.

You will work with Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, and quality improvements across our loyalty platform.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years experience as a software developer, SDET, or similar role.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Fluency in software testing methodologies (white box, black box, unit, integration, functional, performance).
• Bias toward automation over manual testing with automation of complex testing in real-world environments.
• Production software coding experience required.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks listed above.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Enable teams by providing a robust quality program and environment.
• Execute tests and drive automation to improve quality metrics.
• Guide the software engineering team on continuous quality improvements.
• Help engineering thoroughly test their code through tooling, piloting, and education.
• Demonstrate continual quality progress and build confidence among stakeholders.
