Job summary

Kobie, a leader in loyalty solutions, is seeking a software quality engineer to enable teams with a robust testing program. You will automate tests, shift left on quality, and drive improvements across the engineering organization.

You will guide the software team through continuous quality progress in a remote-first, globally distributed environment, collaborating with stakeholders and clients alike.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent, or related work experience.
• 0–3 years experience as a software developer or test role.
• Fluency in software testing methodologies: white/black box, unit, integration, functional, performance.
• Bias toward automation with proven automation in enterprise environments.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks listed above.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms is a plus.
• ISTQB or similar certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• This is an enablement and execution role; provide environment and knowledge for a robust quality program.
• Automate tests, shift left on quality, and improve key quality metrics.
• Guide software engineering teams on continuous quality improvement.
• Enable teams to test their own code through tooling, advocacy, and education.
• Deliver continual, meaningful software quality progress to stakeholders.
