NTT DATA Services is seeking a Scrum Master and Preproduction Support Engineer in a hybrid capacity for the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. The role combines Release Management as a Scrum Master with preproduction engineering support to ensure smooth feature delivery.

The candidate should have 5+ years in Agile, risk and dependency management, and leadership, with strong communication across all levels. Jira/Confluence and ServiceNow experience are preferred; hybrid work is available in the SF

Responsibilities

• Lead Release Management across SDLC—testing, compliance and implementation coordination.
• Coordinate release artifacts in Jira and ServiceNow.
• Serve as Scrum Master and deliver project management oversight for delivery teams.
• Provide preproduction engineering support across the environment (switch enablement, testing down, debugging).
• Manage incident support via Enterprise Jira Service Desk and coordinate partner involvement.
• Operate as a system support/operations engineer to reduce risk and improve stability.

We are currently seeking a Scrum Master and Preproduction Support Engineer (FTE / Hybrid) to join our team in San Francisco Bay Area, California (US-CA), United States (US).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone to work in a hybrid role across Release Management as a Scrum Master and in Preproduction environment support as an engineer.

Release Management role

• Manage Digital releases through SDLC phases – testing, compliance, and implementation coordination
• Release artifacts managed in Enterprise tools of Jira and ServiceNow
• Experienced in managing work as scrum master and project manager
• Support of lower environment Problem Incident support for feature development and release environments. Would be responsible for coordinating development, DBA, and enterprise partners
• Responsible for supporting a variety of testing tasks such as switch enablement, testing down, and debug enabling
• Incident support through Enterprise Jira Service Desk
• Experienced as a system support/operations engineer

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience with Agile practices, and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.) and workflow, and collaboration tools, such as Confluence, and Jira
• 5+ years of Experience with human centered design principles
• 5+ years of Strong risk management leadership skills
• 5+ years of Strong dependency management skills
• 5+ years of Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership
• 5+ years of Ability to influence and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
• 5+ years of Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
• 5+ years of Experience working with and leading delivery teams
• Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussion to explore the best possible solutions and possess the ability to lead

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $83,520.00 - $125,280.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
