Job summary

Credence is seeking a Scrum Master to support high-performing cross-functional teams delivering value through Agile practices, including AI/ML capabilities. Ideal candidate is a servant leader with Jira expertise and experience guiding teams in established workflows while continuously improving delivery for federal clients.

The role emphasizes coaching, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and driving Scrum events to ensure steady progress and product excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile practitioner, and demonstrated experience performing business analysis.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles.
• Proven ability to gather and clarify requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver a high-quality product to the client.
• Improves efficiency by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing coaching techniques amongst the team.
• Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
• Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Works with Scrum Team and stakeholders to influence and drive decision making and support product delivery.
• Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase effectiveness of Scrum in the organization.
• Contributes to advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
• Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Serves as a servant leader to the Scrum Team.
• Serves as a source of institutional knowledge to the START team to troubleshoot or aid in root cause analysis.
