Job summary

Claritev is seeking a Sr. Scrum Master to guide Agile teams through digital transformation with AI-enabled practices. You will coach Product Owners and stakeholders, foster psychological safety, and drive sustainable delivery across multiple teams.

You’ll lead, measure, and improve delivery through data-informed decisions while ensuring responsible AI use and governance. The role requires 4+ years of Agile leadership, distributed-team experience, and strong facilitation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 4+ years of Scrum Master, Agile delivery, or comparable Agile leadership experience.
• Experience coaching and maturing Agile teams, preferably including teams recently forming or adopting new ways of working.
• Experience supporting multiple teams and distributed/remote teams.
• Experience with scaled planning, cross-team dependency management, and complex technology delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, flow-based delivery, and modern Agile/product practices.
• Working knowledge of modern software delivery practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps, and quality engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to use delivery metrics and qualitative insights to identify systemic issues and drive measurable improvement.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, conflict-resolution, communication, stakeholder-management, and influencing skills.
• Practical experience with AI-enabled productivity and collaboration tools and the ability to apply generative AI responsibly to Agile delivery and coaching.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices, including data protection, validation of AI-generated output, bias awareness, and appropriate human oversight.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, lead through change, and build collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries.
• Healthcare industry experience not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature Agile teams, including teams new to Agile, establishing roles, working agreements, and continuous-improvement behaviors.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and program-level planning activities.
• Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile principles, product delivery, self-management, and accountability.
• Develop high-performing teams by fostering psychological safety, transparency, and sustainable delivery.
• Identify and remove impediments and cross-team dependencies, escalating organizational barriers when needed.
• Use delivery and flow metrics to drive improvement and measure experiments.
• Support program-level planning and execution, including PI Planning and release readiness.
• Apply AI tools responsibly to improve planning, analysis, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Coach teams in AI-enabled ways of working with responsible use and human oversight.
• Advance Agile maturity by mentoring others and sharing best practices.
