The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in Scrum/Agile, strong communication skills, and familiarity with SAFe methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile practitioner.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles.
• Proven ability to translate stakeholder requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with Jira workflows, boards, dashboards, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile practices to deliver high-quality products.

Position Summary

Credence has an immediate need for a Scrum Master with strong experience to support high-performing, cross-functional teams delivering value through Agile practices — including teams building and integrating AI/ML capabilities. The ideal candidate is a servant leader with strong Jira expertise who can guide teams in adhering to established workflows while continuously improving how work flows through the system.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

• Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver a high-quality product to the client.


• Improves efficiency by recognizing areasofstrength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques amongst the team.


• Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.


• Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.


• Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support product teams in delivery updated and new functionality to the client.


• Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectivenessofthe applicationofScrum in the organization.


• Contributes to the advancement and improvementofAgile practices within the organization.


• Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, ScrumofScrums, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, Feature Review, Product Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Retrospective.


• Serves as a servant leader to the Scrum Team


• Serves as a sourceofinstitutional knowledge to the START team to troubleshoot or aid in completing a root cause analysis.

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile practitioner, and demonstrated experience performing business analysis (requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation)


• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles


• Proven ability to gather and clarify requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria


• Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles


• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills


• Knowledgeofan agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understandingofsoftware development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledgeoftraditional project management principles and practices


• Familiarity with SAFe methodologies (certification a plus, not required)


• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques


• Advancedproficiencywith Jira, including workflows, boards, dashboards, and reporting


• Experience supporting PI Planning in a scaled or multi-team environment


• Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams


• An active Secret Security Clearance are required.
