Job summary

Claritev is seeking a Sr. Scrum Master to lead Agile teams and accelerate AI-enabled delivery across the organization. You will coach teams and stakeholders, drive predictable value delivery, and remove impediments with data-informed improvement.

This role emphasizes modern Agile practices, collaboration across distributed teams, and responsible application of AI tools to enhance planning, coaching, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of Scrum Master, Agile delivery, or comparable Agile leadership experience.
• Experience coaching and maturing Agile teams, including newly forming teams.
• Experience supporting distributed/remote teams.
• Experience with scaled planning, cross-team dependency management, and complex technology delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, flow-based delivery, and modern Agile/product practices.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps, and quality engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to use delivery metrics to identify systemic issues and drive improvement.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, conflict-resolution, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Practical experience with AI-enabled productivity and collaboration tools and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature Agile teams, including teams new to Agile, establishing roles, agreements, delivery practices, and continuous-improvement behaviors.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and program-level planning.
• Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile principles and practices, delivery, and accountability.
• Develop high-performing teams by fostering psychological safety, healthy conflict, transparency, and sustainable delivery.
• Identify and remove impediments, manage risks and cross-team dependencies, escalate barriers when needed.
• Use delivery metrics to drive improvement, analyze trends, and measure improvement experiments.
• Support program-level planning, PI Planning, dependency management, and cross-team alignment.
• Apply AI tools responsibly to improve planning, analysis, coaching, and efficiency with governance.
• Coach teams in AI-enabled ways of working with human oversight.
• Mentor others and promote Scrum practices across the organization.
