Job summary

Ontada seeks an experienced Agile Delivery Leader to own end-to-end delivery for a single scrum team within its Technology Solutions portfolio. You will build sprint cadences, coordinate plans and releases, and coach the team on scope and acceptance criteria.

You will lead cross-functional planning with product, engineering, UX, QA, and release management, ensuring risks are mitigated and delivery commitments met. Strong executive communication is essential.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
3–5 years of experience leading large-scale agile delivery for complex technology initiatives
Consulting experience strongly preferred
Experience in Scrum Master, Project Manager, or hybrid delivery leadership roles
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States full-time without employer immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery accountability for a single scrum team within Ontada’s Technology Solutions portfolio
Establish and operate sprint cadence, backlog readiness, planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release coordination
Facilitate agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews/demos, and retrospectives
Coach the Product Owner and team on scope, sizing, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria
Define sprint and release scope based on product prioritization and engineering capacity
Lead integrated planning across product, engineering, UX, QA, and release management
Manage release capacity planning, estimation, sequencing, and delivery tracking
Ensure epics and stories meet functional and non-functional requirements and approved acceptance criteria
Manage delivery risks, constraints, dependencies, milestone tracking, and reporting
Maintain Jira and PlainView updates, Definition of Ready/Done, runbooks, and team time tracking
Lead non-production WAR/MIM rooms for time-sensitive issues
Serve as liaison among Product Owners, Development Teams, and external stakeholders
Provide executive communication on delivery status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
Facilitate governance forums, milestone reviews, and executive checkpoints
Manage cross-team dependencies and compliance artifacts, including Release Scope Statements, SCRs, and ServiceNow change requests
Lead risk identification and mitigation using ROAM or equivalent practices
Coordinate QA, UAT, regression, integration, and performance testing readiness and execution
Drive defect prioritization, closure, and root cause analysis
Coach and mentor scrum teams on agile practices, ADLC maturity, and enterprise delivery standards
Use delivery metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to identify systemic improvements
Contribute to Ontada’s Agile Delivery Lifecycle and enterprise delivery practices

Requirements

Strong executive communication skills with Directors, VPs, and senior leaders
Expert experience managing scope, timelines, and delivery commitments
Understanding of technical architecture and product roadmaps
Experience enabling CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, and code quality standards
Experience with web, cloud, APIs, and microservices
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar tools
Deep knowledge of Scrum framework, roles, ceremonies, artifacts, and principles
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification from a recognized industry organization
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States full-time without employer immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future
