Job description

Title: Scrum Master

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Remote (willing to work in PST and EST)

Skills:

• Demonstrated competency in project coordination
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt

Education:

• Bachelor's in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Duties:

• Facilitate daily scrum meetings and other team meetings such as retrospectives and Scrum of Scrums
• Remove impediments and guide the team in resolving them by coordinating with the appropriate personnel
• Support the organization of cross-functional teams
• Coordinate with other IT teams outside the Scrum team to manage dependencies
• Assist IT product owners in maintaining the product backlog
• Develop training and supporting materials

Minimum Requirements:

• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile fundamentals
• Experience leading Scrum teams in a large corporate environment with a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Flexible approach to Agile implementation
• High emotional intelligence (EQ)
• Ability to interpret and respond to people and situations effectively
• Ability to work with strong personalities without conflict
• Strong communication skills for clear and concise ideas
• Experience in Medical Devices or similar high-regulation fields such as aeronautics or fintech

Preferred:

• Experience as a Project Manager or Software Developer
