Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Dayton, OH is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals that support the health and well-being of residents. You will ensure meals are made safely and according to established standards, creating a positive dining experience for residents and their families.

You will assist with inventory, supervise Dietary staff when managers are unavailable, set up service stations, and maintain cleanliness while using technology to efficiently deliver great dining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
