Job summary

Trilogy Health Services seeks a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals that support residents' health and well-being, following established safety and sanitation standards for a positive dining experience.

You will assist the Food Service Manager with inventory and ordering, supervise dietary staff when needed, and ensure efficient operation of service stations, with a welcoming team environment and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
