Job summary

Kingston HealthCare Company, now part of Trilogy Health Services, seeks a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals that support residents’ health and well-being at our Vermilion, OH location. You will follow safety and sanitation standards while delivering a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities include preparing scratch-made meals per menus, assisting with inventory, stocking, supervising dietary staff when needed, and maintaining a clean work environment using our kitchen systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
