Job summary

Dig Inn in Bethesda is seeking kitchen team members to join our scratch-based kitchens. Earn $16-$18/hour plus $2-$3/hour in tips and enjoy additional benefits as you grow with the team.

You will prep, cook, and rotate through kitchen stations, while engaging guests about seasonal offerings and ingredients. You’ll support the team during busy periods and learn to uphold our food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates passion for real, good food and eager to learn culinary practices.
• Ability to work hard and maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Team-focused mindset with willingness to support colleagues during peak times.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, and grains following recipes.
• Gain exposure to different kitchen stations such as garde manger, grill, roast, and market line.
• Talk to guests about current menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients to enhance guest experience.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service as needed.
• Maintain food safety standards and adhere to DIG policies.
