Job summary

MIRATECH Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers with on-site service, technical support, and training. You will commission new SCR equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair, and provide telephone support.

Role requires extensive travel (60–75% overnight) and ability to work in a non-smoking environment. You will document work performed and prepare customer reports, coordinating with the Field Service Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of industrial instrumentation & controls (analog transmitters, temperature/pressure, PID controls).
• Proficiency with AC and DC circuits including Relay Logic.
• Strong analytical mind with interest in engines, controls and emissions.
• Eagerness to learn and become an expert.
• Ability to work independently in a loosely structured environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning the total system scope supplied by MIRATECH on new installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and service on existing products.
• Provide telephone support to customers including troubleshooting and parts identification.
• Site coordination and project meetings.
• Post-commissioning customer training on operations and maintenance.
• Daily reports to customers and internal staff while in the field.
• Follow up customer calls after service work completion.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on company products and services.
• Plan own work schedule efficiently.
• Maintain test equipment and calibration tools.
