Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers with on-site service, calibrations, and training for SCR equipment. You will commission new systems, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and prepare reports after site work.

This role requires 60-75% overnight travel, the ability to work independently in a loosely structured environment, and strong instrumentation knowledge. You will report to the Field Service Supervisor and coordinate with site teams across the US.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of industrial instrumentation and controls including analog transmitters, temperature/pressure measuring devices, PID controls.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning the total system scope supplied by MIRATECH on new installations
• Perform routine maintenance and service on existing products
• Provide telephone support to customers including troubleshooting and replacement parts identification
• Site coordination and project meetings
• Post-commissioning customer training on operations and maintenance
• Daily reports to customers and internal staff while in the field
• Follow up customer calls after service work completion
• Keep up-to-date on company products and services
• Plan own work schedule efficiently
• Maintain test equipment and special tools calibration
