Job summary

eTeam is seeking a Scientist III to support discovery research in cardiovascular-renal-metabolic areas. The role focuses on hands-on mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays, and functional genomics, including NGS-focused workflows and iPSC-derived processes.

Responsibilities include operating automated workflows, library preparation for RNA-seq, and cross-team collaboration to deliver robust data and insights.

Qualifications

• MS degree with 3+ years relevant experience or BS with 7+ years in cell biology, genomics, or related field.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture, cell biology, and cell-based assays.
• Strong documentation and data integrity practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine experiments independently.
• Experience with NGS workflows and sequencing library prep is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze cell-based experiments for target validation and discovery.
• Operate and monitor automated workflows for cell-based and molecular assays; troubleshoot issues.
• Perform dissociation and prepare libraries for bulk RNA-seq and single-cell RNA-seq workflows.
• Conduct molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, western blot).
• Maintain accurate ELN/reports and ensure SOP/compliance across experiments.
• Collaborate with biology, automation, genomics, and bioinformatics teams.
