Job summary

TechMind RPO is seeking a Scientist III in Ridgefield, CT to support discovery programs in Cardiovascular-Renal-Metabolic diseases. You will operate automated cell culture and assays, perform NGS library prep, and contribute to organoid workflows with strict sample tracking.

The candidate will design and analyze cell-based experiments, troubleshoot platform issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance target validation and discovery research.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's with 7+ years of relevant experience in cell biology, molecular biology, genomics, or related discipline.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays, and NGS workflows.
• Some experience with lab automation or high-throughput workflows; automation programming not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow lengthy multi-step protocols while maintaining data integrity.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine experimental or operational issues and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated cell culture and assay workflows.
• Support automated iPSC-derived kidney organoid processes and NGS-related work.
• Execute and monitor cell culture and assay workflows with precise sample tracking.
• Perform tissue, cell, and nuclei dissociation and RNA sequencing workflows (bulk and single-cell).
• Conduct basic molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, Western blot).
• Maintain accurate lab records and comply with SOPs and safety policies.
• Collaborate across cell biology, automation, genomics, and bioinformatics groups.
