Job summary

Aequor is seeking a Scientist III Cell Biology & Functional Genomics to support discovery programs in Cardiovascular-Renal-Metabolic diseases, operating automation platforms, mammalian cell culture, and functional genomics studies. The role involves executing automated workflows, NGS, iPSC-derived kidney organoid processes, and independent troubleshooting, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

Hands-on mammalian cell culture and cell-based assay execution.
Experience with NGS workflows and library preparation.
Familiarity with lab automation platforms and high-throughput workflows.
Strong attention to detail and meticulous documentation.
Ability to troubleshoot routine experimental issues and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and analyze cell-based experiments for target validation.
Operate automated workflows for cell-based and molecular assays.
Perform RNA-seq workflows including library preparation and QC.
Carry out molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction, qPCR, Western blotting.
Maintain accurate metadata and electronic lab notebook records per SOPs and policies.
Collaborate across cell biology, automation, genomics, and bioinformatics.
