Job summary
Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector seeks a Launch Systems Integration Systems Engineer – Level 3 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. You will support launch vehicle integration by maturing interface requirements and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful launch readiness.
The role requires 5+ years of engineering in STEM fields or a related advanced degree, and an active SCI access or Top Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of engineering experience OR
- Master's degree in STEM with 3+ years of engineering experience OR
- PhD in STEM with 1+ year of engineering experience
- Candidate must have active SCI access or a Top Secret clearance at time of application
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate integrated analysis plans (e.g., coupled load cycles, thermal analyses)
- Perform integrated analyses with launch service providers
- Develop mission interface control documents with providers, customers, and stakeholders
- Manage interface requirements documents and traceability matrices
- Support verification of mission interface control documents and metrics for reviews
