Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Launch Systems Integration Systems Engineer – Level 5 in Redondo Beach, CA. The role focuses on developing and maturing space vehicle to launch vehicle interface requirements in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
The candidate will support Early Integration Studies with launch service providers and manage mission interface control documents, requirements maturity, and verification burndown while reporting metrics for readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 12+ years of engineering experience or Master’s with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
- Proven experience with system integration and interface control documents.
- Strong knowledge of launch systems and SE processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate integrated analysis plans for launch systems.
- Develop and manage interface requirements documents with providers, customers and stakeholders.
- Support verification of mission interface control documents and requirements maturity.
- Prepare inputs for launch readiness reviews and tracking metrics.
