Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Redondo Beach, CA, seeks a Systems Engineer – Level 3 to lead and integrate ground segment software projects within an agile squad. You will define requirements, architectures, interfaces, and verification artifacts, and help drive sprint planning and reviews with cross-functional teams.
You must have a STEM degree with 5+ years (or equivalent) and an active SCI clearance. Experience with MBSE (CAMEO/SysML), REST/HTTP, and Jira/Confluence is preferred for
Qualifications
- Experience with MBSE and tooling such as Cameo for model-based systems engineering.
- Experience in defining requirements, interfaces, architecture, and verification artifacts.
- Experience on Agile programs and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive development and execution of features for the satellite ground systems domain.
- Participate in working groups to translate customer needs into digital artifacts.
- Lead verification planning and test requirements development.
- Support architecture, interfaces, and design across SW/HW subsystems.
- Engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews with product teams.
- Prepare and deliver demos and briefings for customers and leadership.
