Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA seeks an experienced cost control professional to manage hardware-focused budgets integrated into program schedules. The role requires collaboration with CAMs and IPTs to ensure accurate variance analysis and cost performance data.

You will perform EVMS-related tasks, analyze data, support audits, and work with ERP systems to drive program performance improvements, while leveraging your strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application.
• Experience with accounting, financial analysis or reporting.
• Understanding of materials and/or manufacturing in a government contracting setting.
• Experience with MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with control account managers to develop variance analysis reports and forward plans.
• Perform EVMS tasks including labor headcount actuals vs plan and PMB maintenance.
• Utilize S/4 ERP views, reports and PACE Software for analysis.
• Assist in data reconciliation and provide recommendations to program management.
• Apply DCMA EVMS compliance knowledge and current policy.
• Support internal and external audits and reviews as required.
